Hi,

i am working on the early stages of a 750formula Racer, and was trying to layout the car efficently.

When it came to the wheel base to track ratio i know i need to aim for 1.6-1.7 approx, but with the track i was wondering where it is measured.

is it centre line of wheels, or the outside edge?? I ahve searched through various books but can't find a definative answer.

Thanks for clearing this small head ache up!!

Hi Tony,

It is between the two tyre centrelines. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Chris
