Fred G. has just informed me that another great bloke Tony Fall from the British Rally world died yesterday in East Africa.
He ran Opel Works team and had works drives for just about everybody.
Did the roll cages at Soham
Will let someone who knows more about the rally world fill in the details but two months ago was on Tour Britania and had a story a minute.

That is sad news indeed. He drove my Mini in the 1966 Geneva Rally and finished second overall and second in class. I met him a couple of years ago and he was a great guy.

Oh nuts.
He was on fine form on Tour Britannia. Last time I saw him, I was apologising for being stuck in the queue at Weston Park, and could I squeeze the car past...
RIP, Tony.
This is Tony pedalling the 240Z on TB.

Andrew and I worked for Tony Fall at Safety Devices in the 90's. He was a great character and could have filled a book or two with his stories of his rallying escapades. We were both shocked to hear of his sudden death.
Our hearts go out to Pat and his family at this very sad time.

I said what I had to say in MN. There will be a spare stool at the bar.
Motorsport needs people like Tony

I remember Tony taking part at the Silverstone Rallysprint in the Datsun and really gunning it.
RIP.
