Britek Motorsport Managing Director, Jason Bright, has given Australian MotoGP star Chris Vermeulen the chance to sample his Fujitsu Racing Ford Falcon V8 Supercar.

Britek Motorsport runs V8 Supercars for Fujitsu Racing and IRWIN Racing in the Australian V8 Supercar Championship Series.

The drive took place at Winton Motor Raceway in North-Eastern Victoria, a track Vermeulen last raced at in 1999 during the Australian Superbike Championship.

Lets hope Chris was not consigned to the #2 Britek car - there are only 31 cars in Aus V8 racing & the #2 car, aka the Britek barge is /was always 'tail end Charlie', used to earn dollars for the team - it has never been competitive & is an embarassment to competition in motorsport.
About as competitive as Team Roberts over the last decade.

well Chris took Brighty's car for a spin the #25 (the atlest half competitive one) with Bright beside him, got off to a slow start but got to within 5 seconds of Bright's time and only turned it around once, Bright himseldf was impressed, don't know any times though.
