"Off" The limit sportsirxcrossi 6 Dec 2007, 17:08 Anyone have any idea whats happenin with IRXC coverage, are the last 2 rounds bein shown on setanta or anywhere? Cryos 6 Dec 2007, 18:04 there was roumer of a dispute which was why mick bracken was rumoured not to be at the last round..... irxcrossi 6 Dec 2007, 20:48 so the championship was switched to a winter series to suit tv coverage really and now there might not be any, anyone else heard this rumour? Cryos 6 Dec 2007, 20:53 as i said purely a roumer that i heard last day; So i dont know if its true or not Jennifer_ni 7 Dec 2007, 17:28 I was on the start line the last day and didnt see any tv cameras so i'd say its not going to be on! Perhaps they gave up after only getting to film half the races the time before due to the light situation?? The Fiddler 7 Dec 2007, 23:28 thats not good enough. if he is being paid to a job he should do it and properly. i seem to remember an instance like this last year and his excuse was that he forgot. as it was rightly said he wanted a winter championship as it would be easier to sell thats whats happened and surprise surprise we have been let down again. Matti Alamaki 7 Dec 2007, 23:56 It's very disappointing that all was changed and now seemingly for nothing. The fact that a trip to Pembry was sacrificed is frustrating. Maybe this wasn't the fault of "On the Limit Sports" so I think everybody should avoid blaming people until the full facts are known. irl06 12 Dec 2007, 21:36 I spoke to Mick from On the limit Sports this evening. There is no dispute with anyone and he rubbished the rumours. Round 2 will be on Setanta sports in the next week or so so check out the setanta sports website for more details. He missed round 3 for 2 reasons: 1. No one told him it was on 2. There was no money in place to pay for it. Talks are ongoing to cover the remaining 3 rounds in february/march. I hope this clears everything up. The Fiddler 13 Dec 2007, 21:22 will be shown on setanta sports ireland at 11.15pm on the 22nd december. tkiwan 14 Dec 2007, 09:50 Setanta Sports ? Fiddler must be raking in cash did you rob a bank for the subscription. When is in coming to normal tv ? The Fiddler 14 Dec 2007, 13:46 was extra good during the year so santa is coming early.  no idea when hits normal stations but will try and find out. tkiwan 14 Dec 2007, 14:36 extra good ??? Who are you. I think you should get a sack of coal for your present. Not a good boy this year very bad I think. The Fiddler 14 Dec 2007, 14:44 and on what grounds have you based your opinion on. also see previous post where i told you my name was willie. for an official , tom , you seem to suffer from some degree of memory loss. tkiwan 14 Dec 2007, 15:35 There are many Willys in Rallycross none have been good all year. So what have you done that is so good ? No Smut mind you I know your drivers dirty minds. Cryos 14 Dec 2007, 15:45 roflol Are ye lot off on it again ;) tkiwan 14 Dec 2007, 16:24 In a word "YES". He will pick on you next dont think he likes novas as much as he likes officals. irxcrossi 14 Dec 2007, 16:29 any chance of seeing the championship points this year??? The Fiddler 14 Dec 2007, 16:36 sorry michael are we upsetting you again. its ok if you want to join in. we can have a menage a trois. tom where points for winter championship. c'mon tom should have been done by now. and who says we like officials!!! tkiwan 14 Dec 2007, 16:45 Points will be done when I have time. New car doesnt pay for its self maybe you will do them nextyear in your freetime ? The Fiddler 14 Dec 2007, 16:52 now now tom thats not the attitude to have. you'll scare them all away. do you have the scowl to go with the attitude. i know new cars dont pay for themselves but surely you work 9 - 5 like everyone else. that gives free time in the evening and what about weekends. i'm sure irxcrossi would love to do the points in his spare time and free you up so you can actually build your car and start racing again. tkiwan 14 Dec 2007, 16:54 Great its a Deal. irxcrossi 14 Dec 2007, 17:12 not havin a dig but maybe you should pass the responsibility on to someone else, if you dont have the time.... i mean its only a spreadsheet aint it, cant imagine it taking long to do after each meeting, an hour or 2 max i'd say... then maybe people wouldnt go through a season not knowin where they are etc.. no points after 3 rounds completed in a championship is a bit mad imho. tkiwan 14 Dec 2007, 17:26 Tried that lastyear but only silence. It actually takes over 8 hours to produce them again all the classes are sorted out only an hour or 2 to type them in then plus a full hand written copy incase anything happens laptop. Ian comment on how long it takes when you have done it. only 3 people have done this job in the last ten years. then there is the phone calls after. Cryos 14 Dec 2007, 18:10 haha not upsetting me :) In fairness to tom the Points arnt as straight forward as eveyone would think, while most of us have the joys of being able to enjoy the 9-5 it might not be the same case for all so just keep this in mind. Tom id be happy to do the points next year ;) The Fiddler 14 Dec 2007, 20:47 cyros forgot you get paid to play with computers so would be easy number for you. getting paid during working hours to produce the results. what more could you ask for Cryos 15 Dec 2007, 15:27 True! That and i have lumps of spear time ;) |
