AFAIK apart from "Ome Jan" also Belgian Johan Moons and possibly even Matti Alamäki (see here: http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matti_Alam%C3%A4ki).

But don’t ask what it means – my Finnish is somewhat non-existent…

Matti has a sister who was a famous Finnish model. She and her husband later had something to do with the organisation of sports events, AFAIR it had possibly something to do with ice-skating or ice-hockey. The Dakar year was 1990, I think. However, I wonder if Matti was the driver or Hjallis’ navigator and what make and model they have competed with.

Above the website of Matti’s sister. Seemingly she was married to that Harkimo guy from 1989 to 2003 and they were organising an ice-hockey league in the 1990s as well as running the Hartwall-Areena (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hartwall_Areena) at Helsinki. BTW, how can the Finns dare to teach their children such a tongue-twisting language…
