Rockingham Stages 07 Focus WRC (?)

Hello, could anyone help me with the following info please ?
Simon Mauger recently used his gorgeous (new to him) Focus WRC on this years event which he took to a fine second place. The reg. on the car, i think, is EJ02 KVG. Does any of you know whos car this was when it was a "works"/MSport car. I have looked on a site which shows the history of the Focus in rally guise, the nearest i can get reg. wise is a Focus that Alistair Ginley used on the 2002 Rally GB. Can anyone help please just to satisfy my geeky mind ! ? Thanks alot

Hi Simd1978, I done a bit of digging and have come up with the following: The car which Simon Mauger drove at Rockingham was a 2001 Focus WRC, it was a spare chassis and never rallied as a works car. It was sold to Alistair Ginley in 2003, then sold to Donie O'Sullivan in 2004, then to Hugh Martin Doherty in 2006. Simon Mauger bought in 2007. The reg. no. was originally EJ02KMO. If you ''google'' History of the Ford Focus WRC it comes up with ALL the Focus rally cars from the first to the current ones, giving a full history of each car built. I hope this helps.

Thanks alot Chris thats answered my question nicely. Just me being a bit of a train spotter type rally fan really, and being nosey. I have the History of the Focus on my bookmarks and refer to it every once in a while when ive been to an event. Thanks again mate :)
