Just took a look at the pick 'em format and it's way beyond my comprehension!
Any chance of a prediction comp for simple folk like me? Perhaps (dare I say) like the Champcar format:
Pole Sitter
Top 6 finishers
Fastest race lap
First car out

I've done it this way for a few years and not only has the participation been good, but those who have tried it find it to be fun and challenging.

It makes you think beyond the finish to consider other factors that impact the race.

BTW...The Qualifying format for IRL this year on ovals is just like Indy...they will take a four-lap average for the qualifying speed, thus this year's contest has two more ways to score....4-laps average as well as fast lap in qually plus naming botht he pole sitter and the fast lap driver (and they may not be the same...it happens at Indy often in quals...)
