Meeke goes Prodrift

Red Bull and Pirelli sponsored WRC driver Kris Meeke has today confirmed his intention to contest the 2008 Prodrift European Series.

That's got to be good news as far as drifting is concerned - Meeke is obviously a well known name within motorsport circles so should raise the profile of drifiting nicely and maybe add a bit of credibility (drifting is still looked down on as "not proper motorsport" by some people so maybe someone like Kris having a go could help change that attitude?)
