Ferrari brake system copied?

At least Arrows and Jordan we're using a similar looking brake system in Canada (looked similar on the outside in tv screen). Another interesting thing was that Ferrari mechanics didn't cover up the brakes with clothes anymore.

So that secret is revealed, I guess.

I don't know, what about Arrows, but I think, that Jordan didn't use Ferrari brake system. Maybe it looks like that, but not quite. See this picture and write your position for it. For the system they had a big air intakes against Ferraris. I have not read about Ferrari system so much, but something yes. So, see it and write me your opinion. Bye! Tom Novotny alias TomNo

I dunno... If they did copy the the brakes.... they didn't do a very good job....
Jordan and Arrows both had brake problems....Trulli retired because of bad breaks and Verstappen crashed because of brakes.
Zonta was very uncompetitive due to brake problems.
It seems like the whole field had trouble with brakes because of the nature of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

From the pics I have seen Sauber have a system which is most like Ferrari's. Except that it is slightly bigger.

If anyone have any good pics of the front of the car could they post them.

Arrows, Jordan and Sauber all defintely used ferrari like ducts, The sauber ones used a strange inlet with a swept intake. Jordan still used massive scoops (as in the picture) and arrows were womewhere between the two. I think the point of the ducts is to blank off the inside of the wheel, The air being blown into the upright\Brake assembly has to go through the outside of the wheel and not inside and out like the old versions, this shopuld imprive the airflow between the wheel and the car.
The arrows heavy brake dust before the accident was because the brakes over heat and start to wear much faster.

So I didn't expect, that there are so many people, which knows this. I'm student from Czech Republic, 15 years old. In our country are maybe two people, which are interest in this. If can I have another question, i want to ask you where did you get this information. I was very angry, because from my point of view Crash.Net site was very good for GP pictures, but now they want money from me! That's wonderful!

Please, exuse my English, I'm working on it...

No they're a bit conservative with things like that. And both their drivers have quite some different demands and characteristics for the braking system so I'll guess they'll postpone any radical development in that direction for the time being.
