Morning all, decided to put a thread onto this to try an find out some more information. My brother purchased an Austin Metro last year, and over the winter months he has re-built it and re-sprayed it. Living close to kirkistown race track, it was taken over on Saturday afternoon to be scrutineered by the chief of that meeting. While being scrutineered, it was mentioned by a few passers by that they remembered seeing it and remember "Gavin" Jess using it in Rallycross, would anyone reading this, by any chance have any photographs of this particular car from when it did compete. I believe it ran in the NI Championships, and propably competed in the British Championship rounds at Nutts Corner. The car in question, we now believe was white in colour.
Hopefully someone out there has a few photos of it.
If anyone has any further information, feel free to PM me.:)

This car was owned by Mike Dresser past chairman of the BRDA. It's a flying machine very light with a terrific engine. Good luck to you with this car.
Do you have any photos of it as it is now? Is it Mike Dressers spaceframe with the Judd engine that we're talking about here or is it a previous car? If it's the spaceframe I've definitely got photos of that (in the loft though).

I know the car that you all mean, Mike Dresser had the car before he built and ran the Lotus, this car was used in Northern Ireland, but definately isnt the Dresser Car. . O well back to square one again.
Right, if it's not the spaceframe then it narrows the list down a bit - I have got pics of a white non spaceframed Metro from a winter series round at Lydden a few years back, I'll see if I can find those, scan them and post them (won't be for a few days at least though I'd have thought).

Con Connolly would be a good person to ask, he's been taking photographs at events around Ireland for years. Terry Holmes might be able to point you in the right direction too. Terry is definitely going to Mondello next weekend, and I imagine Con will be too, so you could ask them then!
