Lovely stuff Cub, as usual.
I'm so grateful to you for sharing this treasure with us.
Do you know the drivers of the 2 Maser 250Fs in the background of the Stuart Lewis Evans' picture?
Thanks a lot

No.6 was Jean Behra and no.24 was Jo Bonnier
After deeper research, I found that the Scuderia Centro Sud entered 2 Maser 250 Fs , for Bonnier (ret.) and Masten Gregory (4th).
Jean Behra wasn't driving the blue/white 250F (which is in my opinion Gregory's car), but the experimental 12 cylinders version of the 250F as he was entered by Officine Alfieri Maserati , i.e. the works team.
Behra was in no 6; Gregory was in no. 26 a blue and white Maserati, which is the one here; and Bonnier was in no 24 the silver one with Swedish blue and yellow stripes - this may have been the car raced by Hermann in Germany, where presumably it was silver.
I love the background detail in these photos. Has anybody noticed the pit numbers in that photo 16, 16 bis, 18 thus avoiding the 'unlucky' (to Italians) number 17. The same as the British 12a for 13.

Not being released into the path of another car, of course.
