Morten Bermingrud is slowly getting better. He is out of hospital, and already plans for 2009. The team will build a new Citroen C4. Good to se that he hasn’t lost his motivation for rallycross. But he has a long and hard time of rehabilitation ahead. It will take 3 month before he even can put some weight on his left leg.

Good news indeed :) Glad to hear he's planning to get straight back into action when he's fit and able - it'll be good motivation to get through all the physio.

@ The Eye: Good news, indeed! Hope that Morten will fully recover. Olle Arnesson had a quite similar crash during his daily life somewhere in the woods – and never made it back to RX.

Morten described the feeling in his left leg. “It feels like a truck ran over my leg, and stayed there!
Don’t know exactly what happened to Olle. Wasn’t it an accident with one of his trucks?

AFAIK he crashed during wintertime with a road going Audi quattro into one of his trucks or road maintenance machines (Arnessons Åkeri AB) that was parked at a blind spot somewhere in the woods near Likenäs. But, strange enough, I actually never asked him myself about his accident…
