What is going on with the Prost Jr teams?
Filiberti has left, Varano is up for the space vacated by Daziel in British F3. Hungarian Zsolt Baumgartner is rumoured to take Filiberti's place. Varano's seat is up for grabs.
Any ideas who will fill it? (I don't think Sarrazin, he is concentrating on sportscars)

See my previous post: "Drivers @ F3000 PROST JUNIOR TEAM"
Rumor goes that Zsolt Baumgartner is to replace Nicolas Filiberti at F3000 PROST JUNIOR TEAM.
Rumor goes that Gabrielle Varano is out for the reat of the season with F3000 PROST JUNIOR TEAM, and that there is still no replacement for him.

PSN is backing for obligation to obey the contract with Prost, if not we will not watch this logo on the Prosts anymore.
Really the PSN promotion of South American drivers this year was a DISASTER on major formulas. After the mess of Mazzacane, they decided moved Filiberti to F.Open Telefonica, contract Sarrazin for one race and now put Baumgartner on this seat. Varano is also in risk to lost his seat, maybe there is the time to put Christian Murchison or Luis Díaz on his seat. (In fact, Filiberti left the team due to "personal reasons", but I see the team needs experienced drivers and not two rookies like Filiberti and Varano. Really this marks the need of one experienced driver in F3000 teams. And if not, please tell this to the managers of Petrobras Jr.)
I think PSN can use his sponsorship to promote another Argentinian driver, like Brian Smith. Really I don't understand why when Filiberti left the Prost F3000 team PSN not decided "swap" him with Smith, who was at this time on the car number 10 of the Open Telefonica. After that Filiberti took this seat and the poor Brian are unemployed now. Also PSN can use the big talent and experience of Norberto Fontana (for many reasons Fortec wants to re-contract him for 2001, but he refused the offer) to help the team, but I think is the better chance for South American drivers also talented but some stronger at this time, no matter they have less experience, like Brian Smith, Mariano Altuna (Argentina), Martín Cánepa (Uruguay) and Luis Díaz (México). Also Rodrigo Sperafico can use his PSN sponsorship to left his seat at Coloni and join Prost.
Uruguayan firm Ancap really made better promotion of his important drivers (Trelles, G Rodríguez) than the PSN ones!!!

Now that's a good question.
He says he hasn't got any plans but he had to leave the team because "I told them I wanted to see some more performance and it just didn't happen. It's too expensive for me to carry on like this."
...perhaps he'll go to the German F3 championship. Everyone is playing musical chairs there right now.

I think having a website is the least of their worries just now!
