Best Year for V8 Supercar video???

For now, I am interested in purchasing just one year of the V8 Supercars. Between '92-'00, which year do you think had the best door to door racing??? I'm just testing the waters for now. Thanks ahead.

Well last year they put out a double video, that might be a bit more expensive, but at least you get every race of the year.

2000, and I think 99 were shocking videos, while 97 and 98 weren't all that bad...

kmchow, Try the `94 video, the first 20 or so laps are in the wet and it has some great footage of PB,AJ and LP fighting for the lead SIDEWAYS through The Cutting. GREAT STUFF!!!

Oh, with Bathurst you can get some highlights tapes covering from the mid-60s through to 1975, then 75 ro 85, then 86 to 92, then 93 to 96. 94 was good, but I loved the 95 tape....go Larry go! :)

I somehow forgot that since Aussie uses PAL, instead of NHSTC,I will have to pay another $15/hour to have it converted. So it will cost me Approx. $40 cdn for original tape + $45 for 3 hour conversion, $85 to watch the V8 Supercars!!! OUCH!!!

man, I can't wait until Speedvision increases their coverage of the V8 Supercars!!

....and apparently that will happen sooner rather than later :)

You mean the coverage will extend beyond the 10 minute highlights they currently have for the series? Ditto for the DTM, there are 10 minutes highlights. Just when you get into it, the coverage is over!!

Apparently there has been some sort of deal struck...whether that means you get the whole lot or just 15 minutes, I don't know.
