PINK RIBBON PARADE OF HORSEPOWER

The Pink Ribbon Parade of Horsepower will be one of the biggest public events in Brisbane this weekend and offers excellent media opportunities.
BRIEF TIMETABLE & HIGHLIGHTS:
8.30 am. Park Road closed between Railway Terrace and Douglas Street.
12 midday. Event starts - Up to 30 racing cars on static display outside restaurants. Welcome by Channel Ninešs Bruce Paige. Opera singer Romano Dragoni to sing Nessun Dorma from the Savoir Faire Eiffel Tower.
12.20 pm. Guiseppe Verde choir - Italian male singers aged between 60 and 80, who have been performing together for 43 years.
12.50 pm. Sports memorabilia auction, including signed Wallabies jersey and motor racing souvenirs.
1.30 pm. Unveiling of Michael Schumacheršs $1 million-plus Formula 1 Ferrari and $610,000 Ferrari 550 Barchetta roadster.
1.45 pm - 5 pm.
- World-first public demonstration of new Megamantis ŗlight-speed˛
communications technology by inventor Peter Witehara.
- PROCAR racing drivers sign autographs at restaurants.
- The Cars That Ate Milton cabaret; 3 roving performances from 2 pm.
- Brazilian dancers, samba drummers, tango dancers.
