To say thanks.
We have a number of enthusiasts on this forum with very diverse interests. Austria loves anything to do with formula 1 from the 40’s onwards. TimD spends a lot of time and energy on Bentleys and vintage racing of all kinds.
Murph is a wealth of knowledge of all things F1 from the 70’s up to now. Jarama does a good job filling the gaps which Murph leaves.
Florian tends to be a little bit quiet because he runs Touring-Cars.com, which is dedicated to 60’s historic touring car racing.
Michael M can correct most of us (including me surprisingly ;)) when we get something fundamentally wrong. Whether it is F1 or Touring Cars.
David Paterson races a Historic TC in Australia and did rather well last time out. Graham loves his quizzes although I notice a drop off in these at present.
By now everybody will be aware of my preference for 70’s and 80’s Touring car racing. I find that I can’t actually get away from it because there are references popping up all over the place. If I had my way (and the means to pay for it) I would build a Group 2 - 3.4l Cologne Capri. It’s a dream that I doubt will ever be fulfilled.
Anyway I’ve mentioned just a few of the enthusiasts who grace the Historic Racing and Racing History forum. So thanks you and everybody else for your efforts and keep those posts coming in.
Cheers all
Pete ;)
