Free chat software?

I wanna add a chat room for my site but it has to be free. Whats the best software i should use? I wanna have all the host options and many user support while also being fast. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Also i hear irc chat software is good, hopefully you guys will know.

Personally, I only recommend Bravenet (who I use for my guestbook). Having said that, I don't know if they provide a chatroom service. (I'll be very surprised if they don't).

I use QuickChat on my site which is a bit slow to load sometimes, but once your in it's perfect....
