I can't get that championship, Invincible; any chance of a clue? Maybe these two related questions might be easier.
16 a) What did the following drivers all achieve:
Jackie Stewart, James Hunt, Stirling Moss, Clay Regazzoni and Jo Bonnier?
16 b) ...and what about these three:
Pedro Rodriguez, Ayrton Senna and Jean-Pierre Beltoise?
At a guess for 16B,
They have all had circuits dedicated to them
As for 16A
A stab in the dark, their first win or formula win was at the same circuit ? Goodwood ? or Silverstone ?
Simon
16A All won their first F1 race at Zandvort

Is SL wrong about the circuit names? Or is he right and Gilles Villeneuve being ignored?
Simon and Ray, you might be right about circuits being named after these drivers but it wasn't what I had in mind. The Zandvoort suggestion is interesting, but I don't think that works out either. By chance (when I was very young!) I saw Jackie Stewart's first Formula One win, in the International Trophy at Silverstone in 1965. And I think Regga's first F1 win was his splendid victory at Monza in 1970.
The answer does relate to Grand Prix wins, and the two separate groups of drivers, all of whom raced British cars at some time in their careers, could be labelled "first" and "last".

A: First wins for Matra/March/Tyrrell, Hesketh, Lotus, Williams, BRM respectively
B: last wins for Cooper, Lotus & BRM respectively
A triumph, vitesse, spot on. I'll try harder next time!

Well done to Vitesse. It never ceases to amaze me just how knowledgeable 10/10'ers are!!
