Just purchased F1 2000 for the PC and while the PS version might be good (I can't say as I don't own a PS) the PC version is an absolute insult to F1 and PC owners.

I can't believe the same software house that distributed the great Sports Car GT would put it's name on this absolute dud, For those of you that have wondered why they haven't released the demo yet now you know.

I'll be sticking to Ubisofts Monaco GPRS 2.

What does everyone else think ?

Cheers Buck.

Please tell us why!

Like I said before, in the PC reviews the game has not been well recieved, but the PS version is the best racing game on the system - my guess is that the game was designed for the PS, and then badly adapted for the PC.

Unfortunately, for us PC owners, that's the way it went with this game and many others.
It was originally designed for the Playstation and then converted to PC in a poor manner.
That is, when you compare the two systems with each other.
Which ofcourse, you shouldn't do in the first place.
You can't compare a Rolls Royce with a Mini. (Sorry Graham). ;)
But comparing it with other games for PC it isn't that bad.
Sure there are better games but there are a whole lot more worse than this.
I bought it last week and I'm happy with it.
As soon as I get into the game, I forget about the graphics or the sound or even the gameplay.
When I'm racing, the only thing I think about is lap times etc.
Maybe that's the secret, dive into it and forget about everything else. :)
