Planning a trip to Silverstone

I have a good chance of being able to make the British Gp at Silverstone and have quite a few questions.

1. How to get tickets? I cannot seem to find any info online about tickets.
2. If there are any reserved seats left, where is the best viewing area? If not, where is the best general admission area?
3. Easter weather in our part of the world is generally warming up with relatively warm days and cool nights with the chance of storms. England will still be in the end of cold weather and the rain will most likely be falling. What clothing would be appropriate for this time of year and for the race weekend?
4. Who else is planning on attending?

I thought Silverstone now had some ticket info on their web site at www.silverstone-circuit.co.uk (http://www.silverstone-circuit.co.uk) don't know what's left though. Silverstone at Easter, basically be prepared for any type of weather, that place can be freezing in the middle of summer!!!
I'll be at the GP and can't wait for it :)
One more thing, general admission gets you anywhere on the outside of the track, you need Centre Transfer to get to the inside of the track.

Carrie's advice sounds spot-on to me, please post again though KC if you have any other questions though.

Trust me it could be bloody cold as well.

Thanks for the advice.

When you say "bloody cold" does that mean below freezing (32F or 0C)?

It should be a bit above 0'C. but on a bad day if it rains hard and there is a fair bit of wind it will make your flesh sting!

Remember the place is a former airfield and pretty flat so it is quite exposed but the grand prix cometh only once a year, and the weather is no big deal.

Because it's Easter, be prepared for anything - wind, rain, snow, thunder, sunstroke....

(You are talking to the only person ever to get sunburnt at SPA.)

I'm going to qualifying!!!! YAY!

(Hey, thats just a warm-up before Austria.)

WOOHOOOOOO!
