I will be travelling around Italy in May and I'd like to visit the Imola circuit, in particular the site of Senna's crash and the bronze bust memorial.

Does anybody know if you can visit the circuit when there are no events on?

Any general advice on visiting the circuit, transport, things to see, etc?

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Luke

Here's some info:

Getting there:
By car - there is a road map on the website

By rail- you can get the train from Bologna, Ancona or Rimini to Imola it'll take about 30mins. From Imola station it's about 10-15mins walk to the track.

Visiting:
I presume you can visit out of season the best thing to do is e-mail the circuit in advance to make your arrangements.

You'll find a helpful website in English at: http://www.autodromoimola.com

or e-mail at:
info@autodromoimola.com

Good luck and let me know if there is any more info you think I could help with.

Regards
Andy H
