Zolder..??

I'm off to Zolder next weekend.. has anyone been before?? Or does anyone know what I can expect???

Any experiences would be much welcome..

Tis a while since I was there too - about 1994 as I recall. But it's a pleasant little cicuit - hard to imagine it was once used for a Grand Prix.

There is a grandstand opposite the pits. Better viewing is afforded from the top of the pit garages though, especially of the long first corner, around a lake (not really Mallory Park, but quite picturesque). Then you can wander around the further reaches of the circuit - you can get quite close in places. There's a good mix of fast and slow corners.

It's not Spa though. Enjoy it anyway. My abiding memory is of a Belgian GT race which had to be neutralised by a safety car period, and over the hill into view came... a Renault Twingo. Now there's an idea for a one-make series!

I'm actually marshalling, but I'll try to have a wander around - the pictures look quite good on the internet..
