Any books which will inform me about the history of CART racing ? I love watching the racing on TV (or, more to the point, I did before Eurosport shafted us all) but don't know an awful lot about how and why the class developed into what it is today.
Mr. Bloke: I expected that you would have rec'd some good replies by now. The history of CART is a long one, if you consider it evolved from USAC indy racing going back to the early 20th century.
If some of our more well-read friends dont come up with any suggestions, I will try to find one or two definitive works and pass them on. It's something I wouldnt mind reading either.
