I'm reading this one now - by Derek Allsop and a book of gossip about the 1998 season. I'm writing a review for the Shop Site but I recommend it to anybody who cares more about what's going on off the track than on it.

WARNING: Mr. Allsop has undoubtedly now been taken off Damon Hill's Christmas card list.

He only covers 12 races and Canada isn't one of them, but he goes everywhere and sees everything and talks to everybody, including the catering (he says Prost has the best food and Minardi has fresh pasta every day!) and the mechanics and Prof. Watkins and all the truckies and PR people, as well as the pilotes. Very good coverage of some of the second-tier pilotes and their dramas - DC, for example, is very well covered, as is Frenzy. Not a lot about the actual racing though.
