The date for the BTTC is 22/23 June. Hope to see as many of you as can make it, as it promises to be a great weekend, if previous races are any thing to go by.
As far as we are aware there willbe some Saturday night entertainment, just awaiting confirmation!! So far we have a few confirmations from U.K. marshals and we look forward to a few more. Sign up early for the best posts.Don't worry!! We will look after you!! The craic wil be 90!!!!

For anyone that is travelling to Mondello, there is now an "interactive" Mondello on Paul's site at http://objektiv.intrascape.com/marshalling with photos of most of the main posts and details on them.

Just a short note to all marshalls travelling over for the BTCC, bring PLENTY of suncream as Mondello can be very breezy - even on a dull day I have found myself going home like Larry the Lobster :cool:

If you are coming to Marshal, please let the chief Marshal know beforehand so he can post you.

At present we have approx. 20 marshals form the UK and NI.
If you do marshal, you will get a free lunch and drinks for the day.
There is also a BBQ and disco on circuit from 9pm to 12 midnight on the Sat. night. The drivers have also been invited.
Come and have some fun.
If anyone is having problems with B&Bs please let me know as we have some reserved with discounts for visiting marshals.

Formula Ireland..... Gah, I hope none of 'em come off. You can't tow 'em. The only "official" way to move em is a suspended tow and you need a special bar for through the airbox.

Just a few days to go, so who is coming over ???

Well, I managed to be there, despite missing a ferry :) Nice to meet all the marshals there, esp Teri and Grant who chatted with us in the 10/10ths gazebo on Saturday night. Maisie and I had to leave before the end of the BTCC feature race on Sunday as we had a ferry to catch, and we weren't prepared to miss another one! Which was a bit of a shame because there must have been a few parties that night too.

Marks Models are involved in a fair bit of sponsorship, I think they also have fingers in the Formula Ireland pie now as well. I think they must chose fairly good drivers as I've never had to meet any of them in a "professional" capacity. ;)
