Minardi fan 3 Jul 2000, 01:36 It seems that previous attempts at a league of some sort have failed on the grounds that the rules were inflexible and far too complicated for most of us mere mortals.
Therefore I propose a new league, using the classic F1 '97 (Or F1 Championship Edition as it is also known.)
The rules are simple - that is the whole point. Simple, but FUN.
1: Choose a car/driver to use for the whole season.
2: Races are run on full settings - damage, expert difficulty, flags, failures, variable weather etc...
3: 20 laps each (Would half distance be better?)
4: Do a full qualifying hour.
5: Race the race, recording your finishing position, fastest lap, and, if you won, the win margin. If you retire or are disqualified, note the reason why and the lap you retired on.
6: One race to done per week. Results to be declared as soon as possible afterwards. Results will go to me and I will work out the score. If you can't manage a race for any reason one week, it does not matter. Simply do it asap.
THE RESULTS WILL BE CALCULATED AS FOLLOWS:
The results will be calculated based on who finishes where. If you win the race, you get first place in the Ten-Tenths race. If two people win their race, whoever got the fastest lap takes the Ten-Tenths win and the other takes second AND SO ON. After these positions have been worked out, points will be given as in real life - 10-6-4-3-2-1. There are NO points for qualifying/fastest laps.
And thats it. After all races have been completed (Melbourne through to Jerez) the winner will be declared.
This is open to suggestions/criticisms but can we please not prat around like last time and actually GO RACING!!!!!!!

Minardi fan 3 Jul 2000, 12:43 I'm guessing GR that your little bit of naughtiness was going to point everyone to the site to have been used previously.
However, I feel there was a general consensus that the rules of that league were too complicated and no way flexible enough.
That is why I designed the F1 '97 league with simplicity in mind.
Spam? Spam? c'mon, it was a discussion. Why the hell did you edit my post?
And I'd like to know WHO edited my post too?
There was valid points in it, but yet you seem to disagree. WHY?
I read the FAQ and to me it seems I done nothing wrong. So if you can point me towards what I had done wrong, then please let me know?
I mean, this is getting out of hand. Why can't I let other know things about the curent issue at hand? Is it too much for you or something?
"else we'll be forced to remove your posting rights."
You think this scares me? I don't even like this place. That's one of the reason I wasn't around when I was a moderator, this place stunk, no where near as good many other BB's around the net.
The only reason I'm here is to show others (mainly Minardi-Fan and F197er's) the light.
This place sucks!
Minardi-Fan, email coming at ya soon
Minardi fan 3 Jul 2000, 13:23 G-R...
Carry on with that attitude and you won't be 'showing us the light' - we'll be 'showing you the door'.
:)
I don't care. I'm fed up with this place. They run it like a kindergarten.
Then simply go away.
anyways, I'd like to participate, but eh, is it only for the playstation owners?
Toth, read..........
"The only reason I'm here is to show others (mainly Minardi-Fan and F197er's) the light. "
F1FansClub 3 Jul 2000, 15:45 G-R, why don't you leave 10-Tenths then if you don't like it?? You have to spoil everybody else's fun because you aren't satisfied, I was happy that you had gone but now you are back you are starting to be a right 'Tourist'. I had my application for Forum Host of this forum because of 'our' arguement which I tried to stop and you just kept escalating so that I would be in trouble as well as you. I stayed at 10-Tenths because I knew I could get over it but you obviously can't. My message to you is to say sorry to everybody in this forum and to leave if you don't like it here.
Ally Mitchell
Minardi fan 3 Jul 2000, 19:21 Toth, the league is for both Playstation and PC versions.
Indeed G-R, if you can't behave then we'll gladly show you the back door. If, on the other hand, you are willing to contribute in a manner more befitting, then of course you are welcome to stay.
I also think it is appropriate to point out know that I am very soon to be the new moderator of this forum - and childish or spoilsport attitudes will not be tolerated.
wodonnell 3 Jul 2000, 19:30 A question about the league (at the risk of potentially losing myself some points)...
Would it be better to also submit the race time? That way if everybody wins the race it will be a little simpler to see who actually gets the 10 points.
Just a suggestion.
Lee Purnell 3 Jul 2000, 21:00 I would be happy to play in this league, just let me know when you aim to start etc, but can I be Ralf Schumacher??
I am his biggest fan :)
wodonnell 3 Jul 2000, 22:14 If we are reserving names, can I be HHF? Best grab the best cars before they all go :-)
Ok, the reason I'm ****ed at thisw place is because they edited my post without any real good reason. It's like a kindergarten in here, like I said before.
Everyone is so happy happy joy joy and think what ever the administrators do is the best thing ever.
Ally, you can't read like toth either?
"The only reason I'm here is to show others (mainly Minardi-Fan and F197er's) the light"
But you see, the administrators aren't willing to let me say what my opinions are on this topic. Why?
"you just kept escalating so that I would be in trouble as well as you"
****, boy. You were acting like you owned the place. You acted like because it had 10-10ths and it was in the motorsports forum that you were instantly a part of it. Someone had to bring you down from your imaginary could nine.
And why would any of us have had been in trouble anyway?
"I knew I could get over it but you obviously can't"
That little spat was nothing. I've had far bigger arguements than that one. I wasn't even thinking about it till you brought it up, so maybe you're the one who isn't over it yet?
And why should I say sorry? What have I done wrong. I've argued my points but your so precious moderators and administrators don't like the idea of someone thinking along differently than everybody else and thought that they'd keep you from actually knowing things outside their most precious forums
" you can't behave then we'll gladly show you the back door. If, on the other hand, you are willing to contribute in a manner more befitting, then of course you are welcome to stay. "
I can stay wether I'm welcome or not, and ain't any of you guys gonna stop me. Only the administrators can take my "posting priviliges" away but I've done nothing wrong so they can't.
"childish or spoilsport attitudes will not be tolerated."
Yeah, see what I mean? Running this place like kindergarten.
It seems everybody here is afraid of someone argueing. Everybody seems to think that everybody is right, and because someone has a different opinion on things, they are wrong. It's stupid you know.

Your friendly adminstrator.
[Edited by Gerard on 4th July 2000]
G-R, if you're so unhappy with us here, why do you keep coming back trying to put a bomb under our F1'97 League for the second time?
You are not only insulting this excellent bulletin board but also the members with your constant immature ranting.
You say the only reason you're here is because you want to show some people 'the light.'
The only reason we are here is to have some fun.
Consider yourself 'warned' as of this moment.
Keep this forum free of insults and spamming.
Your friendly administrator,
Gerard.
Minardi fan 4 Jul 2000, 02:42 Wodonnell - yes, ok, everyone must also submit their complete race time. I'll see whether it is better to use fastest laps or race times for people with the same results.
Aim to start the league very soon ie. week beginning on Sunday - late entries will of course be accepted.
Please PM me with your driver choice - drivers will be dished out on first come, first served.
Are you in Gerard???
Now which car to choose...
I'm sorry Minardi fan, but I can't possibly find the time to join. I do not have that much spare time and a lot of it goes into 10 Tenths.
As a matter of fact, almost all of it goes into 10 Tenths. :)
Gerard, why did you edit that post?
I was making a statement, no spamming.
What, aren't I allowed to say what I said. It's keeping within the "rules" of this place. Why don't you allow people to read it?
and give me a proper reason why you edited my post. Something other than 'spam', because it wasn't.
"Keep this forum free of insults and spamming. "
Show me where I insulted someone directly.
Show me where I spammed.
"immature ranting. "
This ain't immature. I'm trying to get a point across. Problem is, that you keep editing my posts.
AtlasF1 is a much better place than this.
oooppss. I guess you're gonna edit that part out, because you consider that spam, and I'm not allowed to have an opinion around here about something, and you have to shield everyone else from finding out where the good places are.
I know a much better F197 league too. Where the fast people are and where you can actually rate yourself against them. Edit that part too?
wodonnell 4 Jul 2000, 14:11 Another quick question.
Is there any ruling on short cuts?
I prefer to race around the actual track but I don't want to submit my time for Melbourne and find that everyone else has taken all the short cuts.
If they are allowed, then fine, just so long as we know.
Minardi fan 4 Jul 2000, 20:53 Drivers taken:
Lee - Ralf Schumacher/Jordan
Toth - Jos Verstappen/Tyrrell
Wodonnell - Heinz Harald Frentzen/Williams
Me - I haven't decided yet!
Any more???
SHORT CUTS ARE NOT PERMITTED - which is why flags must be turned ON.
To be submitted after each race (PM me):
i) Finishing position
ii) Fastest lap
iii) Total race time
iv) Retirements - which lap and why
First race: Melbourne. Results to be submitted by MONDAY 17TH JULY - do your best Toth, otherwise don't panic! And remember, new competitors can join at any time.
Minardi fan 4 Jul 2000, 21:05 G-R, please check your PM.
[Edited by Minardi fan on 5th July 2000]
wodonnell 4 Jul 2000, 21:15 Hang on a tick...
In F197 flags don't prevent you taking short cuts. All they do is disqualify you when someone drives into the back of you :-)
Also, only the fastest lap of the race is displayed. If this isn't you then we are going to have to keep a note of the lap time each time around, which can be a bit distracting.
Minardi fan 4 Jul 2000, 21:47 NO SHORTCUTS ARE ALLOWED.
Very well. Don't submit your fastest lap, because unless you set the fastest lap of all you won't see it. Good point Wodonnell. Therefore submit your total race time.
Simply add the winner's time to the gap to you.
Minardi fan.
wodonnell 4 Jul 2000, 21:59 With a bit of luck there won't be any gap to add :-)
Sounds good, Can I have Giancarlo Fisichella's Jordan.
Thanks
Welcome to 10 Tenths, Fisico.
And with such a nickname, you're choice of driver wasn't that hard to figure out. :)
Minardi fan 5 Jul 2000, 21:47 Welcome Fisico!
Right, that's Giancarlo and his Jordan taken.
I STILL haven't decided...
I would really love to join this series, but I only have F1 2000. Can anyone tell me how I might be able to get a copy of F1'97? How does it compare to F1 2000 in terms of graphics, gameplay, etc.?
1997 was my favorite year of recent F1, before the cars were turned into butt-ugly land rockets with grooved tires. Please, someone help me find a copy.
This is a something I posted in another thread. It describes the which one is better and why.
"I thoughy I was the only one who thought F1 championship edition (97 in europe) was the best f1 game. Glad to see i'm normal!
In F1 2000(Monza), my first race i qualified on poll postion with Jenson Button, and easily won - kinda got boring.
In F1 Championship Edition(Monaco), i was doing a championship with Mikka Hakkenin, i qualified in 12th. I battled with so many other cars, passed JV (Driver one actually) in the pits, and then it started to rain, dropped two places, then worked back up and passed M Shumacher (forced him wide just before the tunnel) on the last lap to take the win - better then sex"
The F1 97 graphics are not as good, and the incar view in F1 2000 is lovely, but 97 is still a much better game. I dont know where you could buy a copy, but I dont own a copy, I just keep renting the game.
Minardi fan is JV taken?
Minardi fan 7 Jul 2000, 11:37 No, JV is not taken. (Well, the quick one isn't ;))
Mr. S - Villeneuve/Williams
Me - ??????
If you live in the UK, F1 '97 is easily available in the shops - it is now a Platinum title at £19.99 and therefore an ABSOLUTE MUST!!!! I still see the PC version in the shops too.
Otherwise, try mail order - I'll put some sites up in the Cool Sites forum later today.
wodonnell 7 Jul 2000, 19:17 Minardi fan, are we posting our times or PMing them?
I would suggest PM would work better as that way people will just do their best and submit a time. If we post times it may be tempting for people to cheat (not that anyone here would do that).
Minardi fan 8 Jul 2000, 11:02 PM your results to me. When I have them all, the results will be posted in a new topic.
Remember to submit:
1: Your finishing position
2: Your total race time
3: The fastest lap IF YOU SET IT
4: Which lap you retired on and why.
I have run my first race - perhaps unsurprisingly I plumped for Katayama and the Minardi. Let's just say I THOUGHT I was going to do rather well...
Minardi fan 8 Jul 2000, 11:03 ALSO SUBMIT: Which position you were in when you retired.
wodonnell 8 Jul 2000, 11:26 I got my dates mixed up. I thought the deadline was Monday so I did my race yesterday. Another surprise result.
Results on their way to you now.
Minardi fan 8 Jul 2000, 15:13 In all honesty, the sooner people do each race, the better - it means we can move onto the next sooner.
:)
I'm now definately not going do the first race, haven't even had time to install the the thing on this pc and I'll be out of a pc for 3 weeks starting tomorrow at noon
that sucks but... I'll be back
Minardi fan 8 Jul 2000, 23:36 No problems Toth - you can be a late starter to the season at Brazil or Argentina, rather like Lavaggi...
;)
I have two Questions.
How long are the races, Half or 20 laps?
What is PMing?
Minardi fan 9 Jul 2000, 21:47 Fisico, races are 20 laps (providing, of course, you reach the finish line...)
PMing - Personal Messages.
When you go to Armchair Enthusiasts, click on my name, which will be at the top where it says 'Your forum hosts are'. Find the 'pm' symbol, click on it, and you send a message to me, containing your results.
Also, the 'pm' icon can be found at the bottom of everyone's posts.
Good luck in Oz... !!!
Minardi fan.
MinardiFan, I have to withdraw my entry. My Playstaion is acting funny, and my F1 championship game isn't working, Gran Turismo sim disc also.
My appologies.
Minardi fan 19 Jul 2000, 00:27 Sorry to hear that - but if you get it working join back in.
I have the results from myself (unsurprisingly), Fisico and Wodonnell.
Therefore Lee I await your results - Toth will join us for Brazil or Argentina.
Minardi fan 20 Jul 2000, 11:37 Ok kidz...
The results will be published AS SOON AS Lee sends me his results. In the meantime, get busy at Interlagos - results to me by the end of July if possible please. Toth/Lavaggi ;), do your best.
Lee Purnell 20 Jul 2000, 12:44 Terribly sorry chaps, may have to withdraw my entry too.
Too much to do and so little time, I haven't been near my playstation for ages, and I am off on holiday...and than I start full time work in a couple of weeks....sorry guys
Hey it may be highly illegal to visit this site from this pc but that doesn't mean I don't keep up with all that namecalling.
anyways, they'll let me go tomorrow so within a week you'll have my data, we'll see who's Lavaggi then
(probably still me)
Minardi fan 21 Jul 2000, 01:35 Sorry to see you go Lee. Toth, do Australia as soon as you can and I'll include you in the results. Although since there are only 4 of us at the moment we all get points whatever our results. Thankfully.
:)
David McManus 23 Jul 2000, 22:39 Is it too late to replace Lee in the Jordan of Ralf?
I'll do Aus and Bra right away.
Just to let you know I'll be away for 1 week beginning 29/7
I'll pm Result Tue/Wed for both?
Minardi fan 24 Jul 2000, 01:59 Sure thing! Join right in. Welcome aboard 'n' all. See you at Interlagos...
:)
I do have the time to race this entire week, but the computer went the way of the undead again. I'll get my broter to bring it back to life next monday but I'll be leaving for vacation on tuesday.
so, I'll be out of the running for about another month or so
I'm really starting to feel like Verstappen,
and now I've got nothing to do for the entire week:(
Minardi fan 4 Aug 2000, 01:37 Interlagos results are up and posted, and it's pretty close - 3 points separate each player...
And so on to the dreaded Argentina...
Results to me asap.
Cheers!!!
P.S Please keep this topic for all correspondence to do with the league, and the results one purely for the results and posting of lap times etc...
Minardi fan 11 Aug 2000, 18:40 Well seeing as most of us have already done San Marino, you may as well get on with Monaco too then. Lovely.
Minardi fan 21 Sep 2000, 17:32 So are you racing with us Benz? If so, welcome aboard.
(Look through the thread list for the results so far.)
wodonnell 27 Oct 2000, 21:53 Has this league been abandoned or are we waiting for someone to submit results?
beats me...ive only done spain...and ill submit the next track..which is canada i think...so yeah
Minardi fan 30 Oct 2000, 17:12 Yup, I have only just got round to doing Spain thanks to being on teaching practice. (Profuse apologies etc... ;)) Results will be posted shortly but in the meantime feel free to continue on to one of my personal favourites, the wonderful Montreal.
Mf.
:)
Minardi fan 6 Jul 2001, 02:06 Oi oi! Wodonnell, Fisico, David and Benz... let's get this thing rolling again - and anyone else who wants to join in then please submit to me your choice of driver for the rest of the season. Read through the rules and get racing!
We shall recommence the season from MONTREAL - sorry if you have to re-run the race!
:)
badoer fan 6 Jul 2001, 18:17 Yay, I'll have a go! I'll be Panis (Ligier Mugen-Honda) if that's OK please.
Eh, a long time ago I joined the grid but, eh, I never really raced. Strange things happened and I really feel like a Lavaggi. Have I officially left? Well, if not, I do now. Something is very wrong with the f1 '97 cd, and it takes me a lot of time to get used to my new (but very old) wheel. Besides I never race anyways, just change the setup and do 3 laps of Spa (overtaking, huh, doesn't that cost to much time).
Ok cool, when do you want canada done by.
Minardi fan 9 Jul 2001, 11:40 ASAP - just PM your results as soon as they're done.
:)
David McManus 16 Jul 2001, 12:23 Sorry M-Fan, I haven't been able to do Canada yet. I was going to do it this morning, but my PS2's dead (See topic "No No No No No". Will get done ASAP
Minardi fan 16 Jul 2001, 12:41 Ok - we are only awaiting yours' and Badoer Fan's results.
A note to all participants - either you lot are playing it on the Novice difficulty setting (it should be on EXPERT), or I'm just going REALLY slow...
David McManus 16 Jul 2001, 14:41 Or it could be that you're driving a Minardi...
Minardi fan 16 Jul 2001, 16:30 True... but I've won Canada in a Minardi before, and it wasn't on the easier difficulty settings...
dammit, i want results up now!
im dying to know if my time is good enough to take my first ever win!
so hurry up ppl...
David McManus 17 Jul 2001, 14:09 OK. My new PS2 arrived this morning, and after looking at the GT3 special on this months PS2* demo disk (no new demo, but a couple of interviews and a quiz!), I'm ready to race. Expect my result this afternoon! Sorry for the delay guys.
*New OPS2 Mag out tomorrow in shops. My sub copy arrived saturday.
David McManus 17 Jul 2001, 15:18 Right, I've sent off my times from Canada and France, so I'll see you all at Sunny Silverstone.
Minardi fan 17 Jul 2001, 15:36 David, was that your subscription copy of the OFFICIAL mag? Does it not have a new demo??? *sob*
David McManus 17 Jul 2001, 16:50 Yes, it's the Officail Mag, and there's no new playable demo.
Still plenty of GT3 related stuff to give you the last fix before Friday :)
Minardi fan 18 Jul 2001, 14:31 Please follow the rules carefully! (It's not rocket science or anything...)
France asap people - especially since a certain highly-anticipated game is out on Friday... AAAAAAAARGH!!!!
David McManus 18 Jul 2001, 15:54 I've done France, but I may get a few more done tomorrw, before the highly anticipated PS2 racer arrives!

wodonnell 26 Jul 2001, 19:46 I am seeing my lead slowly evaporate!
There could be a Minardi leading the championship after Silverstone!
Now theres something you don't hear very often.
My record at Silverstone is appalling so its not unlikely either (Although MF does need to win it I think)
I hope I don't lose it too soon - I was counting on the last couple of races to get a few wins.
Minardi fan 27 Jul 2001, 01:49 Don't bank on it, my Silverstone record is also terrible, I usually blow-up.
I was shocked to win France, yet still pleased - even if it was because I was the only one to make it to the finish line!!!
:rotate:
wodonnell 28 Jul 2001, 09:51 I wonder if there is something in the coding of the game which gives a higher probability of breakdown at your home circuit?
I know that on maybe 3 or 4 occassions I have had a fuel line failure on the straight between Club and Abbey - usually inside the first 3 laps!
David McManus 31 Jul 2001, 06:16 When's the deadline for Silverstone?
racer69 31 Jul 2001, 07:26 I'll join in.
When is the next race need to be submitted by
I'll be Eddie Irvine, unless he's taken
welcome aboard racer69...this makess it more interesting as not all drivers will get points...
Minardi fan 31 Jul 2001, 14:35 Excellent, welcome to the Ten-Tenths Racing League!!! We are currently on Silverstone, so begin your campaign there sir.
:rotate:
Minardi fan 31 Jul 2001, 17:49 The site which you can find here (http://www.geocities.com/tententhsracingleague) is now updated and includes some season statistics.
Currently awaiting Silverstone results from Wodonnell, David McManus, Racer69... and me!
:rotate:
David McManus 31 Jul 2001, 18:17 OK, I'll head towards Silverstone in the next day or two
slight problem, the it won't let me pm my results to minardi fan, says i don't have private messages turned on and i have to edit my profile, so i tried to change it but it couldn't find anything to change, anyone know how to help.
Minardi fan 1 Aug 2001, 14:04 Go to Edit Options, you'll find it there. :)
David McManus 5 Aug 2001, 23:02 Who still hasn't sent the British GP results in?
wodonnell 5 Aug 2001, 23:14 I sent mine earlier in the week.
Minardi fan 5 Aug 2001, 23:29 It's the closest yet. My god. Badoer fan, this is WAR. You'll see what I mean - results posted tomorrow!
:rotate:
David McManus 6 Aug 2001, 04:47 Tomorrow is now today, as of 3 and a half hours aga. Where are they?
sweet, 4th on my debut, wodonnell is looking pretty good for the championship. When is Germany required by.
Minardi fan 7 Aug 2001, 13:50 Generally race results are asap. I've done Germany already, Benz is miles ahead having almost done Monza (!!!), and a few others have done Germany.
One retirement can completely screw up your chances - me thinks by the time we get to Jerez it's going to be very close...
wodonnell 7 Aug 2001, 20:07 Just out of interest, what were the times for Silverstone?
Am I going to regret taking it easy for the last 5 laps?
Minardi fan 7 Aug 2001, 23:45 Silverstone:
1. Fisico, 28.42.232
2. Wodonnell, 29.02.236 (you were 20 secs behind!!!)
3. Benz, 29.15.915
4. Racer69, 33.58.145
5. Badoer fan, 12th
6. Minardi fan, 13th
7. David McManus, DQ lap 7, 22nd
If I hadn't had an accident on the penultimate lap I'd have finished 8th or higher... tsk...
I'll get the Germany results in within 24 hours.
ah nuts
i could of got 2nd if that stupid extra long stop didn't happen...
oh well...
good goin fisico...rather another aussie win anyway :p :)
wodonnell 8 Aug 2001, 20:09 I had slowed a little over the last 5 laps but not enough to have made a difference.
I did lose concentration a bit after I lapped the 2nd place Ferrari and went off track twice in the last lap or so.
If I had kept it on track it would have been a bit closer.
To borrow a Murrayism - "F1 is IF spelt backwards" :)
racer69 14 Aug 2001, 09:46 when will the results from Hockenheim be posted
Minardi fan 14 Aug 2001, 13:18 When all the results are in. :rotate:
Minardi fan 17 Aug 2001, 13:07 I'm waiting for Hockenheim results from David McManus and Badoer fan.
ASAP please.
Thankyoooooou.
:)
racer69 24 Aug 2001, 13:31 come on dudes, whats going on, its been nearly 2 weeks since the last results were in, isn't it meant to be a race a week.
Minardi fan 24 Aug 2001, 17:14 I'm still waiting for results from DM and BF.
It was originally one race per week but this changed due to some people not being able to manage it.
I would be interested in entering your championship , could you please keep me informed of races, times and dates , what cars are eligle and all the rules.
for rules and other stuff, try the site
http://www.geocities.com/tententhsracingleague/
i think thast it...
just find em there...
racer69 25 Sep 2001, 06:50 hmmmmmmm....
Minardi fan 25 Sep 2001, 13:51 David McManus said he'd get his Germany results to me... and he hasn't... I will give him a couple more days before the Hockenheim results are published as they stand.
Minardi fan 29 Sep 2001, 13:18 Right, David McManus has until Monday morning to get me his Germany results, else he will be classified as a DNS. The Austria-onward calendar and driver will also be revealed.
:)
i thought david pulled out anyway?
badoer fan 30 Sep 2001, 09:56 So did I
Where is everyone else up to, cos I have an awful feeling I am miles behind.
racer69 30 Sep 2001, 10:03 The last one i have done is i think Monza if my mind serves me correct (its late i'm not thinking straight)
Minardi fan 1 Oct 2001, 16:02 DM was back in but has vanished again.
From Austria we will all be using the same, as-yet-unnamed driver and weather conditions - which will be posted this evening.
:)
Minardi fan 1 Oct 2001, 23:36 Well I was going to publish the Germany results but I can't get into my emails where they are stored... :(
:|
hmm..thats not good
david said he was pulling out in a different theard...the um...new rule one..
wodonnell 2 Oct 2001, 20:21 I think I had done as far as Hungary so will probably have a bit of catching up to do too!
Although, if MF has lost the results from Hockenheim onwards we may have to redo those!
Minardi fan 3 Oct 2001, 13:09 I can now access the results. As yet, DM has not sent me his Hockenheim results. He did however confirm to me in a PM that he would continue in the league.
Therefore the results will be published tomorrow when I've worked it all out.
:)
racer69 16 Nov 2001, 13:44 I don't mean to be a nuisance :)
but i take it the championship is cancelled. :(
badoer fan 16 Nov 2001, 18:26 But I was just starting to do good!!! (ish)
I just found this thread and the racing league!
If it is still running, or another one is going to start, sign me up and count me in! I have F1 97, but I'm better at F1 2000.
yep...so this thing is still dead or seeming to be dead...
so i take it that this championship is now over?
badoer fan 22 Nov 2001, 09:30 I hope not. I will email or text Minardi fan and tell him to get his butt down here pronto.
Minardi fan 22 Nov 2001, 11:18 No it's not dead but several of the results got mislaid when college decided to wipe some of my emails .
I will try and sort it out in the near future.
Zealot, you are welcome to join.
