Arena Motorsport back in the BTCC

Saw Will Hoy on Silverstone TV at the British GP, he was saying they hope to be in the BTCC shortly this season.

He reckoned they had a car (didn't say what type) and they were just sorting out some minor sponsorship problems before they joined in.

Anyone else see the interview or hear anything about this?

It would certainly be good to see Hoy back in the BTCC, just a shame they couldn't have been ready for the beginning of the season.

I hope this is true! we need more cars!! Especially in the Independents.

My money is on Hoy racing another Honda???? Honda seems to need all the help they can get. That is good to hear Hoy maybe coming back to the BTCC. He's a nice guy, I've talked to him several times.

It was on during Friday morning before first practice I think, Will was a studio guest but they had a bit of chat.

It obviously wasn't repeated all weekend like the Bernie Ecclestone interview!

I assumed he meant proper ST, although I guess he could have been talking class B?
