Maybe that was addressed in previous post but I couldn't find it.
Does anyone know why the site is not being updated? Last update I get is 14 Oct.

i noticed that too. i think its because the staff are re-doing that site, as it will become the offical site as it has been purchased by the FIA.
Wasn't it here that I heard it was bought out by Bernie or something like that and shut down.
Thanks, I heard that Bernie had bought them out but I thought they were supposed to keep going... Oh well time will tell. Thanks again
i was thinking the same things. I thought the F1 world must have shut down for some reason.
But i still normally go to other good sites for F1 news.
F1-Live.com and
F1central.net
any good others to note?
Tom.

formula1.com acquired by Formula One Group
formula1.com has been acquired by the Formula One Group who plan to turn it into the official website of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
Since our launch in 1998 formula1.com has become a successful and popular website attracting more than 1 million visitors every month. The Formula One Group plans to make significant investments into this site and we will develop many new exciting features and services which we know you will enjoy. The new-look, official formula1.com site will be launched later this year - we'll keep you posted and tell you more about this nearer the time.
We've temporarily closed one or two of the site's features (including the store) to prepare for the relaunch but in the meantime it's business as usual for us at formula1.com as an unofficial site and we'll continue to give you all the FORMULA ONE™ news and views as it happens.
We want to make sure that the current spirit of the site continues so that formula1.com will remain a site for you, the fans. To help us deliver what is important to you we welcome your views and opinions on what matters to you and what you would like to see in the site. We always value your feedback and would like to incorporate as many of them as possible in the new-look formula1.com.
Thank you for your understanding and enjoy the 2002 FORMULA ONE™ motor racing season with us!
