Can anyone give me info and/or point me to a website which covers the history of the BTCC back from when it started in its first form way back in 1958(?).

would be very appriciative of anyone that could help.

it started out in 1958, idea of Ken Gregory (manager of Stirling Moss) as a championship, with 4 classes who competed in one race, then in 1960 they adopted the FIA european regulations. It basically didnt change in regs til 1991, as for the championship results etc i dont know.
