What's this Alfa

This is from a Pirelli advert in 1968,no info other than it's a OSI Special Alfa Romeo

It's the OSI Scarabeo, if I'm not wrong the engine is a mid (tranverse) mounted straight four, more later (possibly).........

They built three, all different. Two coupes in 1966 and a spider. The picture is of the first coupe. One of them at least remains, and is in the Alfa Romeo Museum at Arese.

It's indeed powered by a transverse four. Specifically a 1570cc Giulia GTA. Wheeee!

And I wonder - who else had the little red Dinky Toy?
