Anyone here fancy having a go at moderating the track day forum? You should be unbiased and prepared to put in a bit of effort to generate some traffic and get thing moving. Previous experience of moderating is not required but enthusiasm most definitely IS!
If you're interested drop me an email or post here stating why you'd like to do it and what you feel you can bring to the position.

I have no idea whether I'd be useful here. Talk to me, baby.
Why? I'm looking to do trackdays this year, so I will have first-hand experience.
Can I bring my Maestro to the position?
BTW, Look out for a blue MG Maestro at 45 degrees in '03!
Hobson, drop me a PM mate. Paul, have you received my message yet? I haven't heard back from you?

For all other browsers of Track Day forum - in case you haven't noticed, Hobson and I have become co-mods for this forum. Judging by the traffic thus far, we shan't have any reason to step in and do any actual moderating; but feel free to fire away if you have questions about how any of this works.
Cheers!
Paul, any ideas to generate some traffic?

We could post an invite in all the other forums!
(I'm kidding - sort of.)
What about inviting participants in specific other forums, like the racers, marshalls, historics, AE? I wonder if racers use track days to fine tune their track knowledge, or their cars for club racing. Do marshalls work track days? People who have vintage race cars should tell them about the cars and where / when they drive them.
For that matter, I've spent precious little time in the road car forum. They should have some input - do they ever talk about where they drive?
