Mallory Park open for business

Mallory Park has it's first track day of the year today (I think). Has anyone been? And, more importantly, has anyone tried the new layout.

I am there on the 27th for a track day and will be using the new layout. I'd rather use the old one, but I am trying to keep an open mind.

So if you've driven round it, spill the beans... :)

I think it was a practice/test day not a trackday. We've been sent some pictures of the new "Edwina" corner and shall be there on the 22nd so can let you know

We used the old circuit today. Which was great.

Tried two sets of tyres/wheels and we are not sure if it makes much difference lap time wise, but one set makes more squealy noises!

I was there on the 27th too (in one of the D Type replicas). The only thing which I wasn't sure about was the surface change on the way into, and part-way through, the Esses.

Excellent, which D where you in? (colour?)

I didn't think the surface change was too bad, but I don't go to Mallory enough to really notice.
