Tracks in South (Bournemouth)? - Thruxton!?

Living in borunemouth means theres only 2 circuits nearby (that i know of), goodwood and thruxton. goodwood seems very expensive but i cant find any info on trackdays at thruxton? do they run host them at all?
also any other circuits close by im missing?

Hi - Bournemouth eh? thats where I work... if you have a competition car you can hire out Forest Edge Kart track which is on the road out by the Ski slope just down the road from Matchams. I know some rally guys do that. If you wanna check the circuit out come along saturday morning as there is Kart testing all day. Thruxton tends to be a bit limited, altho I was up there today and there were plenty of school road cars out and about, but I am guessing you wanna run your own motor?

Of course Im forgetting Combe (how could I?) - really its only just over an hours motoring from Bournemouth - and the drive up can be just as good, especially if you go out thru verwood - sixpenny handley - tarrant royal and then down the incredible zig zag hill on the way to shaftesbury is breathtaking if you get a clear run! and of course Combe, even in its emasculated modern form is an absolute classic track.
