Sebring Photo Contest

Its been brought to my attention that someone by the name of Ken May has started a photo contest on the IMSA and DSC message boards, and would like to get participants from other boards as well.

the rules, as posted by him, are these:

RULES:

1. You are able to submit up to THREE (3) entries for the contest.

2. When submitting the entries, please note if you are a "Professional" or a "Fan".

3. You may submit all pictures with your 'watermark name' on them - lower corner of picture, I will blur out the name so none can read-

4. The contest will be for winner and runner-up in these categories:
Pro
Fan
Over All

5. All pics need to be submitted by June 1st.

6. Voting will begin June 1st on my web site (which will be linked on this thread).

7. Please submit pictures to mayk@sigecom.net with a "brief discription" or title of pictures...........

Good Luck ALL and remember....NO MORE THAN THREE PICTURES from Sebring 2003!

Oh yeah...

Ken ran the same competition at PLM last year and some really nice shots were submitted - You can see them on the photo's section of the IMSA board.

Just FYI, this contest is not DSC or IMSA Forum contest, but rather a contest for all who love the art of shooting at the track to "show their stuff"!

I have received 4 entires from "pros" so far and 5 entires from fans...like me!

If you went to Sebring this year and took some pics (even with a throwaway camera -have one entry from that- send me your pics to mayk@sigecom.net

You can have your watermark on them as I will blur it out to keep all a secret!

Damn! I nearly went to Sebring as well!!...and I nearly raced a Miglia there in Feb'!!! Will have to wait for another contest over here. Perhaps we should have picture show after the Champcar meeting at Brands though just for fun?? (PS: perhaps the best could win a Ten Tenths badge????)
