A friend gave me an old copy of autosport today and i have read an artcle about a class called europa 3000 which is/was meant to begin in England this year.
it claims the class is an alternative for FIA Formula 3 and sounds pretty interesting.

There's a "Europa Cup 2000" run by BARC...I'm racing on the same bill as them at Snetterton April 15th/16th and was wondering what they were.

From the 10 Tenths Links Directory:

The Europa Cup is Europe's best single-seater motor racing series. Young drivers from all over the
world compete in identical single-seater racing cars powered by 2 litre twin-cam engines. The similarity
of the cars means that the best driver should win, giving a true indication of a young driver's ability.
The championship was launched as Formula Vauxhall Lotus, together with its continental equivalent
Formula Opel Lotus, in 1988.
