Just back back from the third round of the Powertour and I have to say that they've improved things greatly since the opening round at Thruxton. Now all the racing takes place on raceday, so at least it feels like you're getting your money's worth. Got two mini races, Supersports, Marcos Challenge as well as the NSC, MGF, GTs and the F3, so a great day.
The objection I still have is cost. £22 to get in on raceday and on top of that a programme is £5 - this is at Oulton where previously BTCC programmes have been free and I think only cost a couple of quid this year. Along with the programme I acquired another freebie radio which I really didn't want. I asked if I could get a cheaper programme if I didn't take the radio, but for some reason I wasn't taken very seriously ;)
