Melbournes Ken Benham passed away last night after undergoing surgery.
Ken was a familiar face around motorsport, not just in Melbourne, but at many other tracks. He will be sadly missed.

You can tell he is on duty, otherwise there would of been a crownie in his hand.
KB thanks for the memories old friend, I miss you heaps.
Love Bear.
Funeral details are
Tuesday 19th August at 1.30pm
Maroondah City Church
340 Wonga Rd
Warrenwood
KB always used to say we are here for a good time not a long time but not this short.
Damn it, it's been a rotten week in motorsport.
I've just returned from KB's funeral and what a turn out.
Paul the Flaggie commented that all we needed was a race track and we could've had one heck of a race meeting with representives from CAMS, Admin, Race Control, Flags, Fire/Rescue, Recovery, Pit Lane, Paddock and competitors all well represented.
Sevi even made the trip down (great to meet you Sevi).
It was great to see so many of us there to celibrate the life of Kenneth Frederick Benham or as he was know to all of us KB NB (Ken Benham Nice Bloke).
