Well, I'm off this week to the BMW CCA Oktoberfest. The event will be held in the vicinity of Road Atlanta, thus most participates will be attending the Petit LeMans. I'll personally be camping at the track from Thursday till Sunday.
As a plus, I will be racing in a BMW Club Race on Sunday after the Petit. It sure is hard to beat watching some of the best sports car pros in the world, both in the ALMS race and the Speedvision World Challenge support race, and then getting to race myself. The celebrity Beetle Cup race should be rather entertaining as well...:)
This will be my first race in my new race car, so I'll report back on how the weekend goes. We'll be racing under the Vintage 13/13 rules, so I plan to come back with the car in one piece. :)
