Any chance of the F3000 boys going with F1 next year to the Indy circuit.
If they did I would certainly have to consider selling the wife or something to get over there.
Do you think they'd let the F3000 boys loose there.
no hope, f3000 is european - would be good if f3000 followed f1 all over the world though, f3000 with mark webber in melbourne would rock.....heard indylights might do indianapolis in 2001.

I'm sure I've heard rumours, that they may be expanding the F3000 to take in other F1 races (Brazil may have been one)..
As it is, the F3000 championship is way too short. It seems that they finished months ago this year..
I posted this in my site http://www.f3000.com/

The 2001 calender has been announced and the season will kick off at Interlagos, supporting the Brazilian GP and will run alongside F1 until Monza (missing the Canadian GP).
The season will be 12 races, 2 more than this year.
wodonnell,
Where have you seen the "2001 FIA Formula 3000 International Championship Calendar" ?

I spotted it on the Autosport site.
I'm not sure if this is a confirmed calendar or not.
However, the FIA announced today or yesterday a load of new F1 regulations so they may have confirmed the calendar at the same time.
Theres no mention on the FIA website of either the calendar or the new regulations though.
