What is the best kent ff1600 to have in 2004

I need a ff1600,What should I buy.

One that doesn't need £££s spending on it.
The answer I always give to "should I buy an £8k car, or a £5k car?" is that you'll need to spend £3k to make them equal. Also go for one that is known to be a good one. Where are you based?

what I was going to say was that perhaps you should buy an RF85 for about £5000 and then use your remaining £10000 on tyres................!

I suggest with all the money burning a hole in your pocket I would suggest a VD 01 from john Loebell.

If you do save some of your budget for tyres then a Swift 95 or a VD 90/91 would be a good enough bet

A swift 95 is the best kent car you can get. I think it is even better than the conversions assuming you r a good driver...

Swift have not made a kent car in the last 5 years......

Stu Gough has won around 7 races in a Swift 95 in the last 2 with the fastest lap at Anglesey and Oulton if I remember correctly

I assume you have not made it in Zetecs so you are dropping down a level? You will not be racing Stuart as he will be racing Zetecs

Hey, trust me I would if I had the budget. As I don't Zetec's are a good move forwards. Having done the Zetec Winter series I can say there was no lack of racing. It taught me a thing or two thats for sure.

Tell me when I have raced against you, then I may know.

You should do Radicals not zetecs.In fact thats what I should do.

They don't really appeal to me the same as single seaters, and sponsors would prefer to see me racing on a premier package such as the F3 or TOCA tour

Ive had a few of them it starts to get expensive after three. This new one is the strongest ive driven.

F3 is something we would love to do in the future. Its just so expensive. We have very little money, so it would have to paid for by sponsors as will Zetec's.

It was a struggle for me to do NW 1600 this year.

I am going to spend zetec money this year on ff1600.

No, We got the 95 Swift bought for us by a sponsor and we ran oursleves for the last 4 races of 2002 and this year.

Keep trying sponsors Virgin have money to burn

thanks for the tip, its so hard to find the way in with a sponsor which if you can achieve is half the battle. If you have any suggestions please let me know. (PM me if you wish).
