Hello all FF1600 competitors, it has come to my attention that some people are unaware that we are starting the championship at Silverstone on Saturday 20th March 2004. It appears that this is not listed on the regulations. The race meeting is organised by the James Beckett team at BRDC. Our second round is at Donington on Sunday 28th March 2004, this is a BRSCC meeting.
This year's prize fund is being distributed at each race rather than at the end of the year, the amounts to be confirmed shortly. Also as a special race deal, the first round will have some race entry fees available as prizes for the Walter Hayes Trophy later in the year. This is to be confirmed after 4th Feb, when James returns from his holiday.
We at the SoM look forward to more racers joining us this year. Thank you for those that have PM'd me, my Marketing Manager is off sick nursing a broken (skiing!)leg. I will get the info sent out in the next week.
