Dale Earnhardt

Its been 3 years already since we lost the great Dale Earnhardt , almost hard to believe it was that long ago.

what an awesome driver he was too , almost always at the front and totally deserving of his nickname "the intimidator".

My best memory would with no doubt be the Daytona 500 in 98 when he finally won the classic race.

I honestly dont really remember alot about the race but the celebrations afterwards were amazing to see , him crusing down pitlane and every member of every team was out there giving him a victory salute , it was pretty amazing to see.

RIP Dale and thanks for all the great memories , you are surely missed.

Although I'm not keen on Nascar racing, dale was allways the man to watch for me. His strategies, his driving style, just incredible. Watching Nascar on TV, late on Eurosport on the Sundays.. It was allways something like 'nice to know who's leading, but what is Dale doing. Not my type of motorsport, but he was the best, a true racer he was.

and you gotta say what a legacy he has left behind for his family , Dale earnhardt Enterprises is flourishing with dale Jnr and I believe Dale Snr's wife in control.

An awesome team and a true testament to Dale snr's ability as an all round package.

Still can't believe he died in such a "normal" accident...
