Maybe as well to start a new one here.
I've just seen the entry for the Steele Dixon Trophy at Silverstone in April 79. Bearing in mind other related posts, there are some interesting entries. For example, Bell's BRM P153 was out, plus John Jordan's BRM P201, as well as F5000s for Janet MacPherson, a Mclaren M19A, an M10B for David Hipperson, and Willie Moore's Trojan. The latter 3 all non-started though...
In 'interesting' F2s were, Nick Overall in a March 772, Orgee's March, Bowtell in his '77B' but with a BDX, Paul Gardner in a '762 Hart', and Willie Pascoe's Crossle 22F Dolomite. Others were Martin Watsons FAt 77B, a Crossle 24F for Tony Bernasconi, Roy Bakers '752 BDA', Broster's Lyncar FAt, and Malcolm Farrall in a "Micron mk7". Plus the better known cars of Russell/Barton/Dean/Robinson and so on.
Any thoughts on some of these 'oddballs' ??
