As the title page says, Daijiro Katoh slipped into a coma from which he never recovered just one short year ago. His many fans were plunged into grief. Undoubtedly the greatest talent Japan has produced, his one season in MotoGP showed that he could be a challenger for the title. He was a friendly, colourful character, who no one had a bad word against.

Despite his short career he will be missed !
Remembering him will keep his spirit alive
RIP Daijiro , we will miss you :(
Today a year has gone of his death. He was a great rider, and 2003 was expected to be good for him. But sadly it all ended in Suzuka :(
Despite being japanese, Daijiro lived in Misano, and was reckoned more italian than Vale (who has moved to London for some years) a real friendly boy you could meet at the first bar eating piadina.
He truly loved Italy and Italy truly loved him.
