10/10ths 2004 Fantasy Challenge FIA GT Round 6 PREDICTIONS (+ results)

sorry for putting this up so late. i was on vacation. alms prediction thread coming up in a few mins also.

this time, i have changed the rules a bit. more info down on the thread.


this is the prediction thread for the 6th round of the FIA GT championship. Track is Donnington Park in the UK. entry list i at www.fiagt.com under the "results" tab.



rules: pick the top 8 in GT and top 3 in NGT. EXCEPT pick positions 1-4 in GT and 5-8 in GT in groups. pick a group of 4 cars that you think will finish in the top 4. do the same for positions 5-8. also, pick the polesitter, and fastest lap of the race for the GT class. For NGT, pick the TOP 3 in NGT (not exact positions, same rules apply from the GT group, except we are only picking the top 3) Pick the polesitter, and fastest lap in the NGT class as well.

entries are DUE by Thursday June 24th at 11:00 PM GMT (british time)

yes, everyone has the format correct. i have recieved some info from my sources saying that the DAMS Lambo will not be at this round. so Gert, if you wanted to change your predictions, you can.

i'm waiting till thursday... DSC has yet to report anything on DAMS pulling out so i'm gonna just wait and see what happens

ok.. DSC has hinted so far that they will not make it.

"A DAMS Lamborghini on the list, but very uncertain to appear"

they took it off their entry list..

I read in this weeks AUTOSPORT magazine that they too feel DAMS is unlikely to run a Lambourgini at Donnington Park, the article did however say that Reiter were trying to get the chasis they used at Valencia over to Donnington for DAMS to use for this round.

I guess we will just have to wait and see..

It's still on the entry list at the fiagt site...

ok times up. great turnout (compared to past races!)

what a race! that had to be one of the most exciting races in a long while! Congrats to the whole AB Racing Performce/Konrad Motorsport crew! they really deserved it!!! its too bad for the JMB crew. I dont know the exact reason for the 5 min penality, but i believe its something to do with no fuel in the car. more info on that later i presume.
