Merlyn MK 17/025 History?

I have several racing cars, and the one I am wondering abouth now, is a Merlyn formula ford. I have had the car for several years, but I don`t know much abouth the history of the car. It seems like it has`t been in use since 1976. The plate no: 17/025 472 FF 75. The car looks like a MK 17 but it has a MK 20 front

Can anyone please tell me some abouth the car and maybe som history. CRD told me that the car vas a factory car in 69-70

An other car is that I am seeking history of is a Van Diemen RF 76 with chassis no: 001

The mk17 is basically a mk11 with a mk20 body a sort of inbetween as it were.
