Does anyone here have a race report on the 1969 Madrid 6 hours sports car race at Jarama? Or the complete results for the race?
I am trying to find out if Masten Gregory drove Richard Brostrom's Porsche 910 in this race.

I can't find any reference to the race at Jamara. :( He did race a 908/2 with R. Brostrom at Zeltweg, Au. but you likely knew that. Try the link to the author on this page, maybe he knows. <<www.atlasf1.com/2000/aut/cox.html>>

According to Autosport Masten did drive. They were lying third when they retired.

Well, now I know- thanks! :o. I did find a reference to the race (see below). I met Masten at Mosport back in the early sixties and one of the few drivers I ever bothered to get an autograph from. He struck me as a most unlikely guy to drive race cars. As a young man, I was curious how he could drive with eye glasses! I figured you had to have 20/20 vision. I remember we chatted a long time. I think he drove a Lotus 19 or Cooper Monaco - I'd have to check the program. I have some photos of him also that I took back then. I could dig them up if you wish. Here's another site that might help if you already don't know about it (which I doubt).

Thanks again Roger! There are three or four non-championship sports car races in 1969 that I didn't mention in my Masten biog because I had no knowledge that Masten competed in them prior to publishing. One was the Salzburgring GP and another was in Sweden. I figured that there would be some that I would find out about later on but I thought they would more than likely be early sports car races in the U.S. that were sanctioned by a carburator-club or something of the sort.
At any rate, I have been quite busy of late. I posted this info over on the Tributes forum but now Masten Gregory is a Hall of Famer! See: http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=62155

The Mosport race you are referring to was probably one of the two Masten won in 1962. He drove a Lotus-19 in both races.
And yes, I would love to see any photos of Masten at that race. I had a hell of a time finding any for my Masten Gregory biography.

That's extremely good news, and congratulations are due to you, without whom it would not have happened.
