The FAQ is fully keyword searchable now as well so you can look for something specific without having to plough through the whole thing!

Much better! I was worried that 'new' could also mean 'slower' - an important consideration for those of us using dialup connections. In fact, it's noticeably faster.

Referrals are something you can fill in when you register - it allows new users to tell us if an existing user directed them to the site.

Group memberships are not an option we're currently using (and probably won't). It's possible to have closed user groups within the forum software.

Group memberships will allow us to have private or public usergroups that people can request membership of. One use of this would be to allow a website to have a forum on Ten-Tenths that's only available to their usergroup.

I'd like to pass on my thoughts on the new layout of the forum. It looks great!

I particularly like the feature that allows you to point your mouse over a thread topic and view the first post :) . I'm sure there will be many more positive surprises as I navigate through the new forum.

Many thanks to Grant and Terri for their great work on speedily bringing us the new forum. When Santa arrives later this month, I'll be sure to send something along with him for the two of you. I would also like to give everyone who was involved in the project a big thank you :), and that means from the initial idea to the finishing touches.
