Affiliate Skins

What happened to this feature which I have used since I joined? Text is now to big for my screen.Also seem to have lost my 'sarah kavanagh' sidebar. Dont see any change for the better yet.

Both problems now solved but now cant see how to delete or amend post.

If you look at the bar at the top of the page you'll see "New Posts". Click on that and you should get your required result.

You can change the font size by either pressing control and up/down arrows or look at "View" and "text size" if you're using IE.

What was the Sarah Kavanagh thing?

The edit or delete function "times out" after 5 minutes (or possibly ten). ;)

I think the Sarah K thing was in the skins thingy at the bottom. This function doesnt work for me now, anyone else got problems?

I suspect its just timing. Not all the affiliates are set up yet. My skin is working fine and I've just looked at a couple of others. You can set your forum to default to any of the listed layouts. ;)

Presume the Sarah Kavanagh skin change was done so that it fitted in with her new site? Suggest you contact the webmaster of that site if you're not a fan of the changes..

Tim, if you go to My Control Panel and then open "edit options" at the bottom you'll find the setting for your own default forum.

Just set it to Mallett Racing *ahem* ;)

Thanks Peter. The sarah thing was the affiliates scheme. Until today her old home page came up when I logged on to 10/10ths.text was better there so I kept it. Since my last post I found the links at the bottom but the new SK forum is awful.white text on black background,so Im back with the (new)standard version.

There are three versions of the "standard" layout too. Try playing with them. the "liquid" version seems pretty good.:D

Not all the affiliates are set up yet.All the skins that fulfilled these criteria:

Still "active" domains
Were still motorsport sites (a few had been re-registered and were now pointing at search engines)
Still had a correct visible link to Ten-Tenths as their forum
were converted into the format required for the upgrade.

For the majority of affiliates I had to make my own "best" guess choices and am more than happy to change/alter skins as required.
