hmmm, seems like I am stuck on 1145 posts no matter how many times I make a post. Are you trying to tell me something like...enough is enough. :)

Post counts are not made in "real time", they are updated on a scheduled run. All users posts counts are likely to be re-calculated in the future to take into account posts in forums that no longer count.

Thanks for the info. I promise no more questions. Keep up the good work. Everything will settle down after awhile and we will all, at least most of us, be tickled pimk with the new forum. :)

muggle, you are aware that posts to Parc Ferme do not appear on your post count?

On another "off thread" thing... I've made six or eight posts today and my Posts at the left has only gone up from 211 to 212. Does it only count how many days I post?

I'm guessing the posts in this forum don't count - which is reasonable.

Anyway, I guess we should let this get back to topic now.

Why don't posts for Parc ferme count anyways?

There is no reason they shouldn't..........will this be changed?

It was a change that happened a couple of years back. This is a motorsport forum and so posts about motorsport count, is the basic reason behind it. In addition many were on some post count trip, with entire threads of single letter answers etc...

Yep. It's sensible that only posts on the motorsport forums count. In the old days there were a lot of members who existed solely to post on the Gravel Trap/Parc Ferme, rather than it being an off-topic forum for the main user base.

Hmmm....that is sad.

Why would anyone want to do that?

Still it'd be nice to have a truer picture of who posts more regularly. I don't know why, it just doesn't seem right that some posts don't count.

I'll leave quietly......

Off Topic posts have been split to PF.
